Note from Kelly Lacina, 2008 Fall Enrichment Class Volunteer: Enrichment Class Registration went very well Tuesday. If you missed registration or are considering adding another class or two, please call the individual teachers to register with them as soon as possible. They will add your children's name(s) and arrange for payment. Teachers' names and phone numbers are listed in the Class Descriptions.

Election Exploration, We Are All Poets, Square Dancing and Gas Laws all need more students in order to be offered. So, if you are interested, please let these teachers know right away. If you have a child signed up for one of these classes, the instructor will let you know as soon as possible if they are going to cancel the class. You will most likely be able to sign up for another class offered during the same hour.

The teachers will need the next few weeks to purchase an adequate number of supplies and to prepare for students. So, please contact them soon.

12-Week Classes begin Tuesday, August 26. 8 - Week Classes begin Tuesday, September 23. There will be no classes on Tuesday, October 21. The last day of classes and Grand Finale will be held on Tuesday, November 18.

We had a couple of questions arise during registration. Hopefully, here are some answers..... If you are interested in teaching in the Spring Semester or, if you have an idea for a class you would like to see offered, please let a committee member know. It is never too early to begin building the class schedule. We will put your name and idea on a list. Watch for our request for Spring Semester teachers in late October or early November.

If you would like to offer our children an activity, lessons, or instruction of some type at a time or place other than Tuesday afternoons between 1:00 and 6:00 p.m. at the church designated for Homeschool Classes, that would be great! We will however not have children Register through the Homeschool Enrichment Class Registration for these activities. This is a pretty gray area and could lead to a massive tangle dealing with many issues.
